On this Thursday (2), the National Congress held a solemn session to celebrate the 170th anniversary of the Military Fire Department of the Federal District (CBMDF). It was in July 1856 that Dom Pedro IIHe created the Provisional Fire Brigade of the Court, headquartered in Rio de Janeiro (then the capital of the Empire).The initiative for the tribute was from senators Izalci Lucas (PL-DF) and Humberto Costa (PT-PE) and federal deputy Alberto Fraga (PL-DF). The ceremony included the participation of officers and ranks.
