Ukrainian forces strike S-400 launchers in Bryansk region and UAV launch site near Donetsk — General Staff

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

“On September 16 and during the night of September 17, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of key military targets belonging to the Russian aggressor. In the Vygonychi area of the Bryansk Oblast of the Russian Federation, two launchers of the S-400 air defense missile system were struck. In the Donetsk area, a site used for the storage, preparation, and launch of the enemy’s strike UAVs was struck,” the statement reads.

In addition, according to the General Staff, warehouses containing the occupiers’ logistical supplies were struck in Kurakhivka and Nova Mariivka in the Donetsk region, as well as in Luhansk.

Areas where enemy personnel were concentrated were struck in Strilkove, Kherson region, and Druzhne, Luhansk region.

Operations against key military targets of the Russian aggressor are ongoing, the General Staff assured.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that last night, during a joint operation by the SSU, SBS, DIU, and FISU, the Yaroslavl Oil Refinery, one An-12 aircraft, two An-26s, and three helicopters in Rostov were struck.
