Women with disabilities are more likely to be victims of violence than those without any disability. This is what the DataSenado research discussed by the Committee on Human Rights (CDH) on Wednesday (23) reveals. According to the results, 38% of women with disabilities (4.4 million) have already experienced domestic and family violence; a figure higher than the 25% of women without disabilities. Participants in the debate pointed to the accessibility of victims to support systems as a challenge.
