The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS) filed a criminal complaint against a teacher from the municipality of Dois Irmãos on Friday, September 25, for two charges of sexual harassment against two teenage students, both aged 14. The incidents occurred in classrooms of different schools, one in 2019 and the other in 2026.
In addition to the criminal charges, Prosecutor Wilson Luís Grezzana requested the municipality to send the teacher's complete personnel file. He also requested information on the teacher's transfers between schools, to verify whether they occurred at the teacher's initiative or for public interest, and, in the latter case, whether they were related to any administrative penalty. The Public Prosecutor's Office also requested the Civil Police to interrogate the accused.
In parallel, a motion for expedited production of evidence was filed to conduct special testimonies of six students or former students in a secure environment. The testimonies will be conducted by a psychologist or social worker with specific training and expertise, with the aim of preserving the evidence and preventing further traumatization. The measure seeks to allow the students to be heard as soon as possible and in a single opportunity.
With the testimonies, the Public Prosecutor's Office intends to investigate the possible existence of other crimes and, if necessary, supplement the existing complaint filed with the court.
