Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"One person was killed and four others were injured in a Russian strike on Sumy. Two children are among those injured. Fortunately, their injuries are preliminarily assessed as minor. Two adults were also injured, one of whom is in serious condition," Hryhorov said.
He noted that Russian forces struck a civilian infrastructure facility.
According to preliminary information, the enemy used long-range rocket artillery. Four rounds were fired at the city.

Serhii Kryvosheienko, head of the Sumy City Military Administration, specified that Russian forces shelled an industrial area in the city's Kovpakivskyi district. The two injured boys are 12 years old and are receiving treatment at home.
