Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Maxim Oreshkin chaired a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the development of the digital economy ecosystems and digital platforms.
The interdepartmental working group listened to reports from the expert groups on industry and energy.
Taking part in the discussion were Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Nikolai Zhuravlev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Maksut Shadayev, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Maxim Kolesnikov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Ivan Kulikov, Deputy Minister of Energy Eduard Sheremetsev, Director General of the Russian Export Centre Veronika Nikishina, Chairman of the Delovaya Rossiya National Public Organisation Alexei Repik, members of the interdepartmental working group, as well as (co-)chairs and executive secretaries of expert groups on the platformisation of economic sectors and the social sphere.
Following the meeting, a decision was adopted to continue drafting comprehensive reports on the platformisation of these sectors. In particular, it is planned to refine the structure and the list of priority areas for industrial platformisation, as well as to prepare proposals aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the energy sector and stimulating the development of private microgeneration.
The expert groups’ reports make a significant contribution, in terms of expertise and analysis, to the drafting of the national strategy for the development of digital platforms and the introduction of platform solutions in specific sectors of the economy and other areas until 2036. The strategy is being developed by the Government in accordance with the President’s instruction issued following the 29th St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The results of the expert groups’ work will be discussed on the Day of Platform Economy in November 2026.
