Biometric verification will be done through facial recognition with proof of life, which will be compared with existing databases, public or private. This verification should be available on the operators' physical service channels, as well as on the websites and mobile phone companies' apps.

Implementation
The implementation of the standard will be carried out gradually. For new prepaid accounts, the deadline for using biometrics is September 30, 2027. For new postpaid activations, portability, chip changes, and cadastral or contractual changes, the deadline is December 31, 2027.
Users of old accounts who have not yet been registered need to do so by January 2029. Unregularized lines may be suspended and canceled.
