The President took part in a videoconference meeting dedicated to the opening of the Tochka Budushchego (Point of the Future) educational centre in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The Tochka Budushchego (Point of the Future) project is a network of educational institutions established by the Novy Dom (New Home) charity foundation. The first such facility opened in Irkutsk in 2020.
The second complex opened in the village of Zhatai, Yakutia, on September 1, 2026. It covers over 50,000 square metres and has a capacity for 1,040 children, including a kindergarten for 200 children and school buildings featuring interactive classrooms, laboratories, and creative spaces for 840 pupils. In addition, the site features a sports and wellness facility, as well as housing for teachers from other regions and for families with foster children.
Taking part in the meeting were Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Aisen Nikolayev; Director of the Tochka Budushchego Centre for Child Education and Social Integration, President of the Novy Dom charity foundation (which supports children with disabilities, orphans, and children suffering from serious diseases), and A-Property CEO Irina Belyanova; Director of the Tochka Budushchego – Yakutia educational complex Ruslan Timofeyev; Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov; and Rostec State Corporation CEO for Assistance to Development, Production and Export of High-Tech Industrial Products Sergei Chemezov.

President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Friends, good afternoon.
I am very pleased to welcome the staff of the new Tochka Budushchego: the teachers, mentors and, of course, the pupils of your educational complex. The centre was established thanks to the efforts of philanthropists and private investors and is a tangible example of Russian businesses’ contribution to the development of the country's education system, support for orphans, children from foster families and children with disabilities – those who need particular care and a solid foundation of knowledge to help them get a good start in life.
I would like to thank the team of the Novy Dom charity foundation and all the benefactors: Sergei Chemezov, Albert Avdolyan and Alexander Isayev, as well as everyone who invested not only funds, but also their heart, energy, and faith in the younger generation in this project. I should add that this facility alone (a similar complex is already completed in Irkutsk) will enable more than 1,000 children to study and take part in various clubs’ activities.
It is only right that leading Russian companies are investing in our most valuable asset – the younger generation. They are building new schools and modern laboratories, launching programmes for teachers and talented children, and developing effective partnerships with universities. Most importantly, these are not isolated initiatives but part of consistent and systematic work. We recognise and greatly appreciate this work and will, of course, continue to support such initiatives.
In general, educational and outreach projects, including those implemented in smaller communities, are an integral part of our common efforts to develop the national school system. Since 2019, 1,719 new school buildings have opened across Russia under the Development of Education state programme, providing places for more than one million pupils.
Our goal is to ensure that every child, whether in a mega city, a small town or a village in the North or the Far East, has equal opportunities to receive a quality education. Cooperation between the state and the business community is helping us turn this shared goal into reality.
We need to promote the exchange of best teaching practices and effective management approaches. We must also make full use of the potential offered by advanced institutions such as your educational complex. Just recently, at a meeting with teachers ahead of the new school year – you may have seen it – we discussed this with your colleague Maxim Astrakhantsev. He is the director of the Tochka Budushchego centre in Irkutsk, which has been operating since 2020. I know that you have studied its experience and adapted it to Yakutia’s severe climate. At the same time, I am certain that you have preserved the very essence of the Tochka Budushchego project and its important mission: to provide equal opportunities for children from adoptive families and children with disabilities, giving them access to a comprehensive education and, ultimately, the opportunity to succeed in life.
I sincerely wish you wisdom, patience and the joy of seeing your students succeed. May Tochka Budushchego in Yakutia become a welcoming home for the children and a starting point on their journey towards great achievements – and may their achievements also be a source of fulfilment for you in your work. I am confident that you will succeed.
I would now like to hear how the work is progressing and which issues require particular attention. Let us exchange views and discuss what additional support from the state may be needed.
Once again, thank you very much. Let us begin.
To be continued.
