Tourism Award

Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, and São Paulo, in that order, stood out in the "Oscar of tourism," as the international award is known, at its 33rd edition of the World Travel Awards (WTA). In the South American stage, the Fluminense capital was elected Best Beach Destination and Best Sports Tourism Destination. Florianópolis Airport was voted the best in South America, while Grand Hyatt São Paulo won as the best business hotel in the region. The regional ceremony took place in Jamaica, two days ago, and recognized destinations, hotels, airlines, and other services in the industry.
