Activity/Guide | Grades K-5 | This hands-on activity and educator guide introduces elementary students to solar physics through engaging art projects, exploring the active Sun, corona, and plasma. Educators can easily implement these lessons in classrooms or afterschool programs to teach core energy concepts, utilizing step-by-step guides that connect directly to Next Generation Science Standards. Developed in collaboration with NASA’s Multi-slit Solar Explorer (MUSE) Outreach Program.
