The intricate network of political and financial connections of former banker Daniel Vorcaro, based in Brasília and elsewhere, has been dubbed the "Vorcarosfera." Currently, there are no names of SC entities involved, but sources suggest that this is only a matter of time. Unreleased recordings will undoubtedly reveal who and for what value the former banker purchased worthless securities from the former Banco do Estado de SC (Besc), which was incorporated into Banco do Brasil in 2008. These "rotten" assets were magically monetized and transformed into billions.
