The Ministers of Human Rights, Indigenous Peoples, and Justice visit villages in Coronel Sapucaia and Tacuru and participate in a press conference in Dourados (MS) on Saturday (31).
The Minister of Human Rights and Citizenship, Janine Mello, and the Ministers of Indigenous Peoples, Eloy Terena, and of Justice and Public Security, Wellington César Lima e Silva, are carrying out an official agenda on Saturday (October 31st) in Dourados (MS).
The visit to the state takes place amid allegations of violence against indigenous communities and is part of a series of initiatives by the Brazilian Government to investigate and clarify the cases, in addition to protecting indigenous people through the National Security Force, which is already operating in the territories.
The three ministers will visit the Taquapery villages in Coronel Sapucaia (MS) and the Sassoró village in Tacuru (MS), and will hold a joint press conference at 17:00 in Dourados (MS).
