The Public Prosecutor's Office of Ceará participated, on Thursday (September 3), in the supervision mission of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in 2026, along with beneficiary institutions of Ceará Mais Digital, the state's digital transformation program, of which the Public Prosecutor's Office is a part. The activities take place until Friday (September 4), at the headquarters of the Secretariat of Planning and Management (Seplag), in Fortaleza. The Public Prosecutor's Office is represented by the strategic advisor for Special Programs, Prosecutor Edilson Izaías, and by employees of the institution.
Over two days, the program includes discussions on the objectives of the mission, strategic review, advances in 2026, planning for deliverables in 2027, results indicators, technical meetings on priority products, impact assessment, as well as deliberations and agreements. Participants include the Secretary of Planning and Administrative Modernization of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ceará, Fabrício Bello, the Secretary of Information Technology of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ceará, Evelise Braga, as well as representatives from government agencies, universities, and the IDB team.
According to Prosecutor Edilson Izaías, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ceará presented updated figures for the semester, as well as indicators linked to products in execution of contracts financed by the bank. "The Public Prosecutor's Office continues to deliver results and present achievements such as the reduction of the average time to complete criminal investigative procedures (PICs) and civil inquiries (ICs). This is possible thanks to investments in technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation, resulting in increased productivity in favor of the people of Ceará," he said.
The digital transformation program of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ceará has funding from the IDB to be allocated to priority areas of the institution. The purpose is to improve the ministerial performance in the benefit of the population.
