Audio: Young people from Luziânia visit Congress during analysis of the Apprentice Statute

Forty-five young people from the city of Luziânia (GO), participants in the state program Aprendiz do Futuro, visited the National Congress to learn about the functioning of the Legislative branch. The activity took place amid the analysis of the Statute of the Apprentice (PL 6.461/2019) in the Senate. The proposal establishes new rules for vocational training for adolescents, young people up to 24 years old, and people with disabilities without age limit. In addition, it maintains the hiring quota between 5% and 15% and provides for rights such as theoretical training, transportation allowance, and vacation. The project was approved by the Committee on Social Affairs (CAS) in August and has already been sent to the Plenary.
