Official statement on the misuse of the MPRS in a political campaign

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS) strongly condemns the use of its name in political campaigns.
The actions of its members strictly comply with their constitutional duties and do not create private electoral assets. It is unacceptable for former members to appropriate this work for self-promotion.
The MPRS is a non-partisan institution dedicated to defending the rights of citizens, and will not tolerate this type of manipulation.
