Fyns Police has now located the high-pitched sound that several citizens in the Nordfyns municipality have heard. It appears the sound is coming from an alarm from a larger company. There is no threat to safety, and the company has been made aware that if such a mistake occurs again, they should contact Fyns Police. Have a good weekend everyone.

The siren that people in the Nordfyns municipality can hear does not come from the air alarm or siren. We are investigating where the sound is coming from. A patrol has been sent.

We are currently receiving many inquiries from concerned citizens in the Nordfyns municipality, as they hear air alarms/sirens.
There appears to be a malfunction, and thus, there is no actual danger.
