Approximately 300 children and adolescents accommodated in institutions in Porto Alegre participated this Friday, October 2nd, in a special program to celebrate Children's Day organized by the Public Ministry of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS), through the 11th Youth and Childhood Prosecutor's Office in Porto Alegre.

Throughout the day, they took part in recreational activities, had fun on inflatable toys, and played football games. And between one play and another, they enjoyed a snack.

Agata, 4 years old, said she liked everything, but the coolest part was playing in the ball pool. João, 14, ate a hot dog and tried ice creams of all flavors.

Prosecutor Cinara Vianna Dutra Braga highlights that the initiative aims to provide an experience of care, joy, and belonging to the children and adolescents. "We want each of them to have a special day, full of affection, fun, and good memories. These are important moments to strengthen bonds, value their stories, and show that they are seen, respected, and cared for by the entire protection network," she states.

Prosecutor Lessandra Bergamaschi accompanied the party in the afternoon.

The activity was carried out in partnership with HD Sports and the Victoria Nahon Institute with the aim of providing moments of integration, leisure, and companionship for the accommodated children. Also, the party's partners included the Rio Grande do Sul Sports Development Association (AGDE), Masterled, Alimenta, Sabor e Cia, Ocarrinho e Dioudiou Events, Gaúcho Athletic Club, Protwins, Tio João Events, Restaurant 860, and Internacional Sport Club.
