About the optional day off for Public Servants' Day, transferred to October 30th.
The Graduate Studies Pro-Reactivity (Prograd) and the Human Resources Management Pro-Reactivity (Propessoas) of the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) inform that the optional day off related to Federal Public Servants' Day, scheduled for October 28th, Wednesday, has been transferred to October 30th, Friday.
This decision stems from the need to comply with MGI Order No. 8,821 of December 26, 2026, which amends MGI Order No. 11,460 of December 29, 2025, regarding national holidays and optional days off for 2026 within the Federal Public, Autonomous, and Foundation Administration.Check the order here.
It is noted that UFG's Academic Calendar Resolution No. 1966/2025, which establishes the UFG academic calendar, will be altered to align with the aforementioned order, with the corresponding update to the calendar in SIGAA.
