Cores: verde (M < 5, raramente causa danos), amarelo (5–5,9 moderado), laranja (6–6,9 forte), vermelho (7+ grande, dano severo). Eventos naturais rastreados pela NASA em tempo quase real: incêndios florestais, tempestades severas, vulcões, enchentes, secas, gelo marinho, deslizamentos e outros. O ícone indica o tipo de fenômeno. A magnitude, quando disponível, aparece na unidade da fonte — por exemplo, área em acres para incêndios. Fonte oficial: NASA EONET.
NASA EONET (Earth Observatory Natural Event Tracker — rastreador de eventos naturais do Observatório da Terra da NASA): serviço que cura e publica, em tempo quase real, metadados de eventos naturais do planeta, ligados às imagens de satélite correspondentes. Domínio público (17 USC § 105).
Sobre os links deste bloco: cada evento aponta para a fonte oficial registrada pela NASA. Alguns eventos aparecem SEM link porque a fonte é o IRWIN (Integrated Reporting of Wildland-Fire Information — sistema de incêndios florestais dos Estados Unidos restrito às agências, que exige login); não faria sentido enviar o leitor a uma tela de acesso fechado. Outras fontes trazem dados brutos, porém públicos: o JTWC (Joint Typhoon Warning Center — centro de alerta de tufões da Marinha dos EUA) publica boletins de texto com a posição, a intensidade e a trajetória prevista do ciclone, em formato técnico; o NATICE (National Ice Center — centro nacional de gelo dos EUA) publica uma planilha CSV com todos os icebergs rastreados — para achar um específico, procure a linha com o nome mostrado (por exemplo, D33D).
