Continuing the Ministry of Public Defender of Rio Grande do Sul's (MPRS) project to expand communication channels with society, the institution's Communication Office (GABCOM) officially launches its podcast, "Direito ao Ponto". Produced in partnership with the Center for Studies and Functional Improvement (CEAF - MPRS School), the audio program, available on Spotify, will feature interviews about the institution's activities in various areas.
In this first edition,The program discusses the MPRS's role in the 2026 elections. In this episode, the presentation is by GABCOM journalist Jeferson Ageitos, who, accompanied by the MPRS Press Office Coordinator, Leandro Belles, spoke with the Coordinator of the Electoral Advisory Office (GAEL), Rodrigo Zílio.

According to the coordinator of the Communication Office, Roberta Salinet, the arrival of this product meets the need to place the MPRS on the most diverse communication channels. "In the age of increasingly short content and narratives condensed in a few seconds, creating a broader space for conversation is essential to address complex issues with the depth they deserve. A program of greater duration allows to go beyond headlines, explore contexts and bring the community closer to the work of prosecutors and public defenders," she said.
For journalist Leandro Belles, the content further strengthens the relationship between the MPRS and the community: "With over 60 million users in Brazil, creating a channel on Spotify brings the MPRS closer to society, humanizing the institution and transforming accountability into an accessible and present experience in the citizen's daily life."
