The action will take place in the municipality of Tabatinga (AM), integrated with federal and state security bodies

The Ministry of Justice and Public Safety (MJSP) authorized, through Ordinance No. 1,313 of October 22, 2026, the use of the National Public Security Force (FNSP) in support of the Federal Police on the international border of the state of Amazonas.
The action will occur in the municipality of Tabatinga (AM), integrated with federal and state security bodies, and aims to preserve public order and the safety of people and property in the region.
The contingent will adhere to the planning defined by the National Security Public Force Directorate (DFNSP), linked to the National Public Security Secretariat (Senasp/MJSP).
The National Force's presence in the region will be carried out in coordination with the security forces of the Amazon State, within the framework of the Amazon Plan: Security and Sovereignty (Plano Amas), a Federal Government initiative to strengthen public security in the Amazon.
The operation includes land patrols in the municipality, border inspections, and fluvial policing in the triple border between Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. Two vessels, one of them armored, will be employed to reinforce the State's presence in the rivers, expand inspection capacity, and strengthen the fight against environmental crimes and organized crime.
The Federal Police (PF) will be responsible for coordinating, providing logistical support, and ensuring the necessary complementary infrastructure for the National Force's operations.
