Personal Biography
Paul Seibert is a postdoctoral researcher with the Bay Area Environmental Research Institute at NASA Ames working on wildland fire fuel type characterization and load quantification using satellite remote sensing methods. Paul finished his PhD at the University of California, Berkeley in 2026, where he worked on characterizing the impacts of fog and dew on productivity of coastal California grasses. His expertise also includes near-surface imaging spectroscopy for sensing of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF).
