The Disciplinary Commission of CONMEBOL
DECIDES
1st. REJECT entirely the protest presented by the CLUB DE REGATAS DO FLAMENGO on
October 23, 2026, regarding the alleged improper alignment of the player FAUSTINO
MARCOS ALBERTO ROJO from the club ESTUDIANTES DE LA PLATA, in the match played on the 22 of
October 2026, between the teams Flamengo (BRA) vs. Estudiantes LP (ARG), corresponding to the
second leg of the CONMEBOL Libertadores 2026 Semifinal.
2nd. REFUSE the request for precautionary measures submitted by the CLUBE DE REGATAS DO
FLAMENGO.
3rd. NOTIFY the club ESTUDIANTES DE LA PLATA, Mr. FAUSTINO MARCOS ALBERTO ROJO and to
FLAMENGO BOAT CLUB.
Against this decision, an appeal may be filed with the CONMEBOL Appeals Commission within 7
(seven) days, counting from the day following the notification of the grounds for this
decision, in accordance with Article 64.1 of the CONMEBOL Disciplinary Code. The appeal must comply
with the requirements specified in Articles 64.3 and subsequent of the Disciplinary Code.
CONMEBOL. In accordance with article 64.4 of the CONMEBOL Code of Discipline, the appeal fee of USD 3,000 (THREE THOUSAND US DOLLARS) must be paid by bank transfer.
