‘Stark Gaps Remain’ in Achieving Development Goals, Second Committee Hears as 2030 Deadline Nears

With just over three years remaining to achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a senior United Nations official warned the Second Committee (Economic and Financial) today that “stark gaps remain” in efforts to meet development targets, particularly those affecting the world’s poorest people.
