Vladimir Putin extended his greetings to President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto on his 75th birthday.
The message reads, in part:
“You have earned the well-deserved respect of your compatriots and a high standing on the international stage as an experienced and far-sighted politician who has made a significant contribution to Indonesia’s development and protecting its interests worldwide.
We highly value your principled commitment to further strengthening friendly relations between Russia and Indonesia. Our productive contacts help foster constructive cooperation across key areas of the partnership between Moscow and Jakarta within the framework of the UN, BRICS, the Russia-ASEAN Dialogue, and other multilateral forums.
Of course, we will continue our consistent joint efforts to address current issues on the bilateral, regional and global agendas, for the benefit of our nations and in the interests of international stability and security.”
