Tax Reform: CBS rate to be determined by the Senate

The tax reform enters a new phase with the definition of the rate of the Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS). The Court of Accounts of the Union (TCU) is to send to the Senate by this Friday (30) the proposed reference percentage for the federal tax that will replace PIS/Pasep and Cofins from 2027. After receiving the calculation, the Senate has until December 15 to set the rate through a resolution.
