What appears to be a good purpose, such as the use of body cameras attached to the uniforms of police officers, ultimately ends up being frustrating, despite the millions invested. A study by the Center for Studies on Security and Citizenship in SC, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro detected that 52% of the recordings made in 2023 and 2024 were not used in the respective judicial proceedings simply because, inexplicably, they were not attached. Absurd.
