The economist Fred Kachar's remarks about women, however, did not limit themselves to the famous ones from his circle at Globo Group. On January 19, 2024, weeks before the Vogue Ball about which the sexist comments were made, the executive and banker discussed the Master Bank sponsorship proposal for the carnival period when Kachar asked if Vorcaro would go to Sapucaí. Vorcaro said he needed to “get away this year” and joked that only Kachar could “survive so long” at Carnival. To which the former Globo director-general replied: “Not at all. Three exes this year. Meetings of this kind began to be mentioned with expressions of war in the weeks that followed. On March 12, 2024, Vorcaro said the plan for the night would be a “Soviet attack”. Later, Kachar asked if he was already “in Ukraine”. Days later, the executive wanted to know if there would be “war in Ukraine this week”. “There is today. Wanna go?”, replied the banker, informing it would start at 11 pm. In May, Vorcaro said the parties happened “every Tuesday”.
On May 15, 2024, in New York, during the Brazil-US Chamber of Commerce's Personality of the Year award, Vorcaro said he wouldn't go to another event in the program and wrote: “I booked a place. No cell phone. And no risk. For the real party rsrs”. Kachar replied: “This is the one I'm going to! Can I, right?”. “Of course. Honored guest”, said the banker.
