The return match is scheduled for next Wednesday (21), at 7 p.m. (Brasília time), at the Princess's Golden Brinco Stadium in Campinas, São Paulo. The Bahia Tricolor has the advantage of drawing to reach the semifinals for the second consecutive year. The Paulista team needs to win by at least two goals to advance in regular time.

In the first half, Bahia displayed efficiency to take the lead against the Brazilian champion. At the ninth minute, midfielder Ángela Gómez was set up in the area by forward Roqueline and split with Carol Gil. The ball rose and beat Carlinha, putting the Steel Women in the lead.
São Paulo shook the nets at 20, with Aline Milene being launched from before the center circle by Serrana and finishing, free, on Yanne's exit. However, the midfielder was in an irregular position, and the goal was ruled out for offside.
At 38 minutes, the home team extended their lead. Defender Isa Fernandes went forward, combined with Gómez, penetrated the area, and shot into the corner of Carlinha's net. Since the 3-0 defeat to Ferroviária almost two months ago in the Paulista Championship, when they played with reserves, the Sovereigns hadn't conceded two goals in the same match.
The Paulista Tricolor returned stronger after halftime. Just two minutes in, Isa, the forward, created space on the right with Serrana, near the area. The midfielder, playing as a lateral in place of Bruna Calderan (treating jaw fractures), crossed it to Kesia Senna's head, who had just entered the field. The forward scored.
The draw didn't come at 37 minutes for a slight detail. Mylena Carioca, another player who entered at halftime, was set up by Kesia Senna and beat Yanne on the run. The ball, on its way to the goal, bounced on an uneven patch of grass, changed direction, and ended up on the crossbar, just in time for defender Tchula to clear the danger.
Even after coach Thiago Viana's dismissal for complaining, the Brazilian champions pressed for an equalizer, but - as in much of the game - they were stopped by Yanne's saves. In the best chance, at 40 minutes, Mylena Carioca aimed for the left angle from inside the area, but the Bahia goalkeeper tipped the ball away with her fingertips, securing the hosts' victory.
